There has been an uplift in diversity & Inclusion knowledge which has directly contributed to providing a better service to our clients.
The Harpur Trust inspires and support people in the borough of Bedford
to improve their lives with a mission focus on education, creating opportunity and breaking down barriers. The Harpur Trust provides a grant to Citizens
Advice Bedford for the provision of complex benefit advice increasing income

The newly formed Money & Pension service (MaPS) provides funding for contractual services delivered in Bedford Borough and Central Bedfordshire.
In addition MaPS provide expert support and contractual management.
CAB works extremely closely with Bedford Borough Council ensuring that the citizens of the Borough have access to the advice they need for the problems they face. The assistance Bedford Council provides starts with a contract for 1st line advice services, in addition to providing resources for a welfare benefit casework capability. Techies have been provided IT services to CAB for many years. These are the guys and girls that keep our tech running,fix issues and generally provide that expertise on all issues related to our complex IT system covering many different user interfaces and software. http://www.techies.co.uk/
Citizens Advice Bedford provides foodbank vounchers which clients
can then redeam at Bedford Foodbank. CAB is well places to deliever this service due to the high footfall of low income clients and those going through a crisis we see. Bedford Foodbank provides three days worth of nutrianlly balanced emergency food, supported by the Trussel Trust working to combat poverty and hunger. https://bedford.foodbank.org.uk/about/
The organisations in the graphic represent a co-hort of subscribers to CAB's bespoke Benefit Advice Service which is delivered across England & Wales. CAB is one of the few local citizens advice to have a country wide reach, working in partnership with large national organnisations to help their clients with their benefit issues.
